 Dr. Nelson is board certified in family medicine, with a special interest in aesthetic medicine. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles and studied medicine at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and New York Medical College. He completed his residency training at the USC-PIH Family Practice Program in Whittier, California serving as co-chief resident. Dr. Nelson enjoys providing complete and continuous health care to his patients and families throughout every phase of life, dedicated to the highest level of personalized care. Dr. Nelson is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. In addition to family medicine, Dr. Nelson is highly trained and certified in aesthetic medical treatments, including Botox Cosmetic, multiple dermal fillers (Restylane, Juvederm, Captique) and in facial volumizers (Radiesse). He also specializes in IPL and laser techniques for skin rejuvenation and anti-aging. Dr. Nelson has served as medical director for several aesthetic medical practices in Southern California. |
